A picture of the person that has gotten you through the most.
Obviously, the person who has truly gotten me through the most is Jesus Christ. But.. on earth, that person would be my mama! My mom has been with me through thick and thin! She has walked with me during the hardest times and the happiest times of my life. Even when my moma didn't agree with what I was doing- she was there supporting me. My mom is the one that taught me what a mom should be. I am who I am today because of her. She is a very strong, independent, loving woman... I have always wanted to be a mom like her. I don't know if I will ever be able to measure up.. but I am sure trying.
My mom has given up so much in order to make sure that her three kids had everything we needed and WANTED! I was the poorest rich kid in my town! :) As a single mom, my mom worked very hard all the time- still does. My mom made sure that we were involved in anything we wanted to be involved in. Any happy memory I have- my mom is in it. Any sad memory I have- my mom is in it. My mom taught me to say I LOVE YOU before I left anyone or got off the phone with anyone.
My mom is the strongest person I know. No parent should have to bury her child- and yet she has had to. Now that I am a mom, I can't even begin to imagine that pain. I pray that I never have to. My mom is overcoming this... but I know she battles daily. My mom keeps my brother's kids a lot. My moms there to keep his memory alive.
I love my mom.
Mom, I love you.

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 8
Day 8: Something that always makes me laugh
I am skipping Day 7, because I need to take pictures and I have been putting it off.. so moving forward, I will add that when I have time.
This video always makes me laugh:
Savannah is Becca's daughter. Vanni and Noah are six months apart. Becca is my best friend from childhood. She is the friend that it never matters how long we have gone without talking... when we see each other, it is like no time has passed at all. I remember finding out that she was pregnant and I was a little jealous. Six months later- I was pregnant, without trying... :) Our babies are just precious. To see them play together is such a gift from God. Although they do not see each other much, I sure love seeing them together!! These kids always make me laugh.

3. I would like to not worry about money at all.
4. I would like to have someone help pick out my wardrobe.
5. I would like to do her talk show.
6. I would like to meet anyone else I want- through being O.
7. I would like to be well respected.
8. I would like to be looked up to.
9. I would like to give starving children tons of $$$ for food.
10. I would like to experience a day of being an African American Woman!!
I just love watching Oprah. Do I always watch it? Rarely. But I do enjoy it when I can. She is a very successful woman who helps others and I love it. I am sad this is the last year for Oprah! :)

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 5
Favorite Memory
I have many favorite memories... but if I am thinking of a memory right now- it is something I always want to remember. I ALWAYS want to remember the day that I moved to Japan... the last day that I saw my big brother alive. Who would have thought how much would change for me in the three years that we lived in Japan. But a year and a half after I moved here, less than two weeks before we were heading home for my little sister's wedding, I received the WORST phone call of my life... All I remember hearing was..."Cassey.... Shane.." and I fell to the ground and broke down crying.
I hope to always remember that last day we spend at Kid's Station with my brother and his family. Shane was very sad that we were leaving... and he always told me I needed to come home. He was one to always give me a hard time. I remember being at the Longview Airport and just crying. My brother and his family gave me a card... they all signed... well he signed Addi's name.... I remember sitting there-- telling him that 3 years was not long at all.. And really it isn't... Because our time to move is almost here. Shane would be so happy to know that we WANT to come back to America. He would be so happy- and I guarantee he would visit us in California!
I always want to remember the big brother that took up for me.. Going to the school and punching a boy because he called me a B****. The big brother that was so rough with me- ALL MY LIFE! The big brother that would sit and talk with me on his swing as we got older.. The big brother that was always there for me... loved me unconditionally.. The big brother that would call me a MILLION times when he knew I was driving home... he was always so ready for me to come home... The big brother that was excited to be an uncle... but never was.
I love you Jeffery Shane Billingsley! YOU WILL ALWAYS be my big brother and you will always be Noah Jeffery Shaw's UNCLE!

30 Day Picture Challenge: Day 4
A picture of your favorite night.
March 28, 2010 11.16 pm 8lbs, 7oz 19 inches
I would have had this posted on time, except... well, I needed to get my external hard drive out to get this picture.. and I am just too lazy to do that.
I have a lot of favorite nights.. but I would be remiss if I didn't say that my favorite night was the night that I brought my baby boy into this world. It was a very long, hard day... but in the end, I had the BEST gift ever.
Noah Shaw- Mommy LOVES you.
